Advantages of a press-braked gutter
Hand-folded tin gutters are riveted together. A few rainy seasons and the rivet holes rust and leak. Ours are CNC press-braked from a single stainless sheet, so there is no lap joint down the length to leak at all. Only the corners and end caps need welding.

Rectangular trough, most capacity for the width. Suits metal roofs and factories.
Trapezoidal
Angled walls, wide mouth and narrow base. Drains fast on a steep roof. Our most ordered shape.
U-shape
Round-bottomed U, strong and easy to bracket. Cost-effective.
V-valley
Two sloped walls meeting at a point, channelling water to one line. Suits roof valleys and recessed runs.

Fittings and accessories

Drop outlets at discharge points, elbows for turns. Welded or sealed.

Welded solid at both ends so the gable does not leak.

The four above suit most jobs. If your roof needs an unusual width, a deeper trough, or a long run with no joints, send a drawing or an old offcut. Folding to a drawing is the shop's main trade.

Frequently asked questions
Which grade: 304, 201 or 430?
SS304 resists corrosion best of the three and is the one to pick for an exposed roof or a damp site. SS201 and SS430 cost less and suit tighter budgets or milder conditions. Tell us where the job is and we will advise the grade.
How long can a run be, and how many joints?
A single continuous piece can be up to 6 m. A run shorter than that has no joint at all. Longer runs are made in sections and welded shut where they meet.
Can you make a profile other than these four?
Yes. Send a drawing or an old offcut and we will fold it to that shape.
Do you supply material certificates?
Yes. When the project needs paperwork we issue a mill-cert for the grade used.
Do you install?
