Busbars, electrical parts and decorative brass

Copper reflects much of the laser beam, so it takes a machine with enough power and the right setup. We cut red copper and brass up to 10 mm on a TRUMPF 6 kW fiber laser.

    Busbars and copper brackets

    Copper busbars, L-, Z- and U-shaped brackets, connection plates and earthing strips for switchboards and electrical equipment, laser-cut and then bent in our shop to the drawing. Bolt holes and slots are cut straight from the file with no punching die, so a few parts cost no more to set up than a full batch.

The copper and brass we cut

Red copper conducts well, so it goes into busbars and electrical parts; brass is harder and golden, and suits decorative work. Not sure which to use? Tell us where the part goes and we will advise.

    DXF, DWG, STEP, AI or PDF. Note the metal, thickness and quantity if you know them.

    Quote within 24 hours

    Price, metal, thickness and delivery date, with suggestions to make the drawing cheaper to cut.

  3. 03

    Approve a sample

    For a batch or a large project we cut a sample first. Once you approve it, we cut the rest.

  4. 04

    Cut and deliver

    Cut in our shop and delivered by our own truck. Outside the region we ship by freight carrier.

01 How thick can you cut copper?

Red copper and brass up to 10 mm, on a TRUMPF 6 kW fiber laser with a 3,000 × 1,500 mm bed.

02 Can a fiber laser cut copper?

Yes. Copper reflects much of the laser beam, so it is harder to cut than steel and needs a machine with enough power and the right setup. That is why the limit for copper is 10 mm, against 25 mm for steel, stainless and aluminium.

03 Can you cut copper busbars for switchboards?

Yes. Send a drawing, or the bar size with the position and diameter of each hole. Holes and slots are cut straight from the file with no punching die, so a few bars or a full batch both work.

04 Do you bend copper busbars?

Yes. Busbars and copper brackets are bent on our CNC press brakes to the drawing: L shapes, Z offsets and U bridges. Cutting and bending happen on the same order.

05 Do you take small orders?

Yes, down to a single sample sheet. The unit price falls as the quantity grows, because parts share sheets and the machine setup is spread over more pieces.

06 Where is the shop, and do you deliver?

At 123 Nguyễn Văn Tiết, Thủ Dầu Một Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (formerly Hiệp Thành Ward, Thủ Dầu Một City, Bình Dương Province). Our truck delivers across Ho Chi Minh City and the nearby industrial parks; further afield we ship by freight carrier.
