Custom UPS Enclosures — Protecting Continuous Power

What is a UPS enclosure?

A UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) enclosure is the protective housing for battery backup systems — containing inverter, batteries and control circuits. Enclosures must ensure proper heat dissipation (ventilation slots, fans), dust/water protection and electrical safety.

Industrial UPS enclosures are made from SGCC galvanized steel or SS400 mild steel, 1.2–2.0mm thick. Anti-static (ESD) powder coated finish. Sizes range from small 5kVA UPS to large 500kVA+ modular UPS cabinets.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does UPS enclosure fabrication cost?

Standard UPS enclosure (600×600×1200mm, SGCC 1.5mm) from $100–210 each. Price depends on size, material and cooling system. Send drawings for quote.

Do UPS enclosures meet IP standards?

Yes. UPS enclosures achieve IP54 (indoor) or IP65 (outdoor). Ventilation slots have dust filter screens, rubber gaskets ensure water-tight joints.
