Custom Inverter Enclosures — Protected, Optimized Cooling

What is an inverter enclosure?

An inverter enclosure is the protective housing for DC-AC power converters — used in solar energy systems, motor drives and UPS. Enclosures must provide proper heat dissipation (heatsink panels, ventilation), IP65 dust/water protection and ESD protection.

Inverter enclosures are typically made from SGCC galvanized steel or aluminum 5052, 1.2–2.0mm thick. UV-resistant powder coating for outdoor installations. Sizes range from small 1kW residential to 500kW industrial inverters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are inverter enclosures weatherproof for outdoor use?

Yes. Inverter enclosures are designed to IP65 for outdoor installation. Silicone gaskets, waterproof cable glands and UV-resistant powder coating ensure comprehensive protection.

How much does inverter enclosure fabrication cost?

Standard inverter enclosure (400×300×200mm, SGCC 1.5mm) from $17–38 each. Aluminum or larger enclosures cost more. Send drawings for exact quote.
